I am a Family Lawyer with an extensive portfolio of over 10 years of experience in my field. My practice ranges from child custody and parenting arrangements, to complex financial matters; including self-employment income determinations for support, business division, and third party property claims.

Having practiced in both civil and family litigation for seven years, and then exclusively in family law; I assert a sophisticated and comprehensive financial understanding in divorce law, which is complemented by my in-depth knowledge and experience in business, corporate, and trusts and

estates law.

As the co-founder of England Lam Family Law, I endeavour to help families navigate the many stages of separation and divorce, with compassion and urgency. From the moment a new case is accepted, I immediately assess the facts and pertinent case law to strategize a plan to protect my client’s interests while achieving a fair and positive outcome. I practice honest and transparent communications with my clients to ensure they are aware of the risks and advantages at each stage of the process. I make certain that all available options are considered; from negotiating an out of court settlement, to taking the matter to court, as deemed necessary.

The unfortunate truth is, when couples separate, each individual is bound to suffer financial strain as a result of the division of a household into two. In my everyday practice I am very mindful of this aspect. Hence I practice a pragmatic approach with practical strategies to achieve my client’s goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. I take pride in helping my client transition from a time of unknowns and challenges, towards a clearer and brighter future. For most of my clients, this means regaining control of their lives through achieving certainty and stability over financial and parenting matters.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my dear husband and daughter. I am an adventurous cook and baker at home, who loves testing out new recipes. I am blessed with family members who are also adventurous eaters, who will try my creations.
