Approachable, open, and non- judgmental, I am a dedicated, child-centred family lawyer with almost a decade of family law experience in Metro Vancouver. I have a track record of success in complex dispute resolution and experience in all levels of court in British Columbia. I regularly obtain results for my clients through traditional court mechanisms, mediation and the use of third party professionals using strategies carefully tailored to the needs of each client and family.

I am experienced in dealing with families from diverse backgrounds and circumstances who are undergoing the mental and emotional strain of separation and divorce. I empower my clients by carefully explaining court processes and clearly outlining the risks and benefits of each option available to them. My clients appreciate my keen attention to detail and thoroughness, which affords them peace of mind during a difficult time.

I am also well-versed in ensuring that the rights and perspectives of children are well-represented in court. I am a Children's Lawyer and roster member at the Child and Youth Legal Centre. I have dealt with cases involving relocation of children, cross-examination of expert witnesses, and judicial interviews of children. I am also experienced in matters of complex property division involving shares in companies and overseas properties. I have negotiated many agreements for marriage, co-habitation, and separation. 

My pursuits include cycling, exploring the Gulf Islands and the BC Interior, and supporting the local performing arts.
